KOPEL® : New development extends versatile range of TPE-E products
Hamburg, 18 August 2016 – With its KOPEL® line, KOLON PLASTICS is offering a range of thermoplastic copolyester elastomers (TPE-E) that can be used to create a variety of solutions. Nordmann, Rassmann GmbH is an active supporter and distributor of these products.
KOPEL® KP3328 is a newly-developed product with a low modulus and Shore hardness of 28D. It contains no toxic or hazardous materials and can be processed using conventional methods such as injection molding and extrusion. KOPEL® KP3328 is very well suited to the manufacture of artificial leather.
KOPEL® as a product line is a range of thermoplastic copolyester elastomers (TPE-E) that is divided into three different product families:
- general grades
- UM grades (upper molecular weight)
- HR grades (high resilience)
KOPEL® products feature good processability and recycling performance as well as excellent flexibility at low temperatures. They also further demonstrate good resistance to weather, chemicals and high temperatures.
